Stephanie Gibson is a childhood cancer survivor, wish recipient, and Pediatrician. She joined the Carolina Sunshine for Children board in 2016 and brings 12 years of experience caring for children of various ages and medical conditions. In her role as Board President, Stephanie helps support wish fulfillment, organizational growth, fundraising, and volunteer development. Beyond her professional experience, Stephanie is deeply passionate about the Carolina Sunshine mission to bring light and joy to children facing life-threatening illnesses, paying it forward for the care and support she received as a child.

When not working or volunteering, Stephanie enjoys traveling, reading, and cheering on the USC Gamecocks and UF Gators football teams. She is originally from Savannah, GA and currently lives in Columbia, SC with her husband Kyle and their two large dogs, Sam and Kanga.
